Nikola Kavazovic has posted a picture of himself with Mamelodi Sundowns mentor Pitso Mosimane, hinting that he may be the next Kaizer Chiefs head coach.
The Serbian mentor is currently contracted to Township Rollers of Botswana, and while he previously denied reports linking him to the Soweto giants, it looks like something might be brewing behind the scenes.
Whether or not this is Kavazovic’s attempt to mess around with the feelings of Amakhosi fans given how overwhelmed he was by their reaction to the news of him possibly joining the club a while ago remains to be seen.
Kavazovic wrote that he hopes to see Mosimane ‘on the opposite bench’ come July 21, 2018.
Both Chiefs and Sundowns will battle it out in the Shell Helix Cup on the day, and if this isn’t a joke by Kavazovic, then the club fans could see him on their technical team bench in the near future.
– Still hope to see you on oposite bench on 21st.

Chiefs are still without a coach since the departure of Steve Komphela in April, and reports suggest that they have been trying to lure Stuart Baxter from Bafana Bafana.
However, with talks between Chiefs and the South African Football Association (Safa) over Baxter seemingly complicated, the 2014/15 PSL champions may have to look elsehwere, especially looking that the new season starts in less than a month.
