Chievo have announced the signing of Joel Obi from Torino in a three-year deal, with an option to extend for another season.
The 27-year-old versatile midfielder ended his three-year union with Torino to join the Stadio Bentegodi outfit ahead of the 2018-19 Serie A season.
In 2015, Obi moved to the Turin from Inter Milan, where he was given his first taste of senior football by current Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho in 2010, and made 59 appearances across all competitions, scoring seven times.

The move comes on the back of his most productive season, racking up 1389 minutes in 25 outings, scoring six goals.
His form saw him return to the Nigeria national team fold after a long period out due to his persistent battle with injuries and fitness issues. It culminated to him being a part of the Super Eagles setup to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Obi is line to make his competitive debut for the Gialloblù in their season opener against Italian top-flight champions Juventus on August 18.
