Nigeria’s Aaron Samuel has ended his union with CSKA Moscow by mutual consent.
Samuel initially joined Viktor Goncharenko’s side on loan from the Chinese club Guangzhou R&F in 2016.
The Nigeria international made his move permanent after putting pen on paper in a four-and-a-half-year deal in January 2017.
And following his struggle to earn a place in the first team owing to fitness concerns, the VEB Arena outfit have announced that they have parted ways with the striker who spent last season on loan at Amkar Perm.
‘Nigerian striker Aaron Olanare left the Army club today by mutual agreement. We wish Aaron all the best in his future career,’ the club announced on their website.
The 24-year-old will hope to secure a move elsewhere before the end of the transfer window on August 31.
