‘Arthur Masuaku’s happy at West Ham United’, insists agent

Arthur Masuaku’s agent Panos Galariotis has insisted that the left-back is happy at West Ham United.

The defender joined the Premier League side in the summer of 2016 after signing a deal that will keep him at the London Stadium till 2020.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed playing time under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, featuring in eight league games this season despite struggles with injuries.

Although the DR Congo international returned to full fitness after an ankle injury but his boss preferred Aaron Cresswell in their stalemate with Huddersfield Town before the international break.

And his representative who admitted that there have been interests from other clubs is adamant that his client is pleased to remain in West Ham.

“He has a great manager like Pellegrini, he can not but be happy, players are learning a lot with him and from him, it’s a great chance and he’s playing regularly in a four-man defence,” Galariotis told Tutto Mercato Web.

“It’s true, I received many calls but Arthur is happy at West Ham and has been convinced by the arrival of Pellegrini, they will be doing a great season.”

West Ham lock horns with Manchester City in their next Premier League game on Saturday and Masuaku will be hoping to get a starting shirt in the tie.
