More and more information is slowly being revealed about FIFA 21, and bah gawd it’s getting us excited for the new game.

With FIFA set to be released on next gen consoles, too, fans are in line for a serious treat. 90min has already run through some of the most improved players announced for this year’s FIFA, but how about those who you can score a peach of a free kick with?

Here are the top 10 free kick takers in the game.

An unknown name for many, Malinovskyi was a key cog in the machine during Atalanta’s stellar 2019/20 campaign.

The 27-year-old possesses an absolute rocket of a shot, and loves a free kick. He bagged nine goals and assisted seven from midfield last season, which is a more than solid return.

He’s severely underrated with a rating of just 79 in FIFA, but has an obscene 88 free kick accuracy. Snap him up.

Robert SkovRobert Skov

Robert Skov scored eight free kick goals for Copenhagen the season before he moved to Hoffenheim. Eight free kick goals in one season. That’s ridiculous.

He has an 89 free kick accuracy in FIFA 21, and it’s more than deserved.

Ward-Prowse sits level with Skov on 89 free kick accuracy in FIFA 21.

The Englishman has developed a reputation for being a ‘set-piece specialist’ in the Premier League, and is a consistent performer in Southampton’s midfield.

Ward-Prowse has scored five direct free kick goals in the Premier League since the 2015/16 campaign.

Flashy skills, ripping up the French league for fun on stupid money, and generally just being one of the best footballers in the world. Neymar is a seriously special talent.

Oh and he also loves a free kick.

His 89 free kick accuracy in FIFA 21 is one of the very best around.

Shunsuke NakamuraShunsuke Nakamura

No, not the former IWGP heavyweight WWE’s resident ‘king of strong style’, although the two share similarly solid footwork.

Shunsuke Nakamura is the definition of the ‘free-kick merchant’, and that’s absolutely fine with us. His set piece strikes are iconic.

He became a cult hero at Celtic for his free kick antics about 15 years ago and, despite being 42, he’s still playing professional football to this day in Japan. 90 free kick accuracy in FIFA 21 makes him a fun options you’re, you know, making a Japanese team…?

Giovinco now finds himself in Saudi Arabia with Al Hilal.

Despite being past his best at 33, he still holds an unrelenting accuracy from free kicks and penalties – with his 91 free kick accuracy being, well, ludicrously good.

Probably not the easiest to fit into an Ultimate Team side, but will definitely cost about 20 coins in-game so he’s worth a punt.

Enis BardhiEnis Bardhi

A hidden gem for FIFA 21, Enis Bardhi has a whopping 91 free kick accuracy.

Since moving to La Liga, Bardhi has quickly built a reputation of scoring from dead-ball situations. In 2017/18, the only person that bettered him in terms of scoring free kicks was a certain Argentine Ballon d’Or winner at Barcelona. No prizes for guessing who.

The first to make the elusive top three is Barcelona’s newest addition, Miralem Pjanic.

Questions are still being asked on whether it made much sense for La Blaugrana to swap a 24-year-old Arthur Melo for a 31-year-old Pjanic (it doesn’t), but one thing they do get from the move is a man with a peach of a free kick in his locker.

Pjanic has consistently been one of the best free kick takers in the world over the past couple of seasons – scoring over 20 of them throughout his career. Therefore, he has an incredible 92 free kick accuracy in FIFA 21.

Taking second spot is midfielder Daniel Parejo, who has 93 free kick accuracy in FIFA 21.

The Spaniard is regarded as one of the best deep-lying playmakers in the world, and has just recently made a move from Valencia to Villarreal.

Who else?

He’s the best player in the game, and best free kick taker in the game.

Messi’s scored 52 free kick goals in his career. Fifty two.

The way he manipulates the ball from any angle, and from any distance is frightening. He tops the charts with an astonishing 94 free kick accuracy. Have fun defending against that.
