If you’re looking to bolster your forward line on Football Manager 2023, you’re in the right place.
Formations with wingers are the most popular every year on FM and so it’s important that, whatever your budget, you have the right options capable of leading you to the top of the mountain.
Here are the best right wingers to sign with any budget in FM23.

Jovane Cabral
Sporting CP
Sporting are prepared to offload Cabral for £2.2m, which isn’t bad considering he’s only 24 years old. With a potential of 144, he could become great for a smaller side.
Fabio Martins
Free Agent
As a free agent, signing Martins is a no-brainer. He’d do a job for a mid-table side and, at 28 years old, isn’t as short-term as a lot of the signings in this price range.
Alessio Zerbin
Parthenope
Zerbin is 23, comfortable anywhere in attack and boasts some really nice potential. If you can help him maximise it, the Italian is a steal at £3.4m.
Cristian Tello
LAFC
LAFC veteran Cristian Tello is still pretty speedy for a 30-year-old and can be a threat down either wing for £1.5m.
Derlis Gonzalez
Olimpia
Paraguay international Gonzalez is a real bargain at just £800,000. He could help out any smaller side.

Gareth Bale
LAFC
Now in Major League Soccer and on a significantly smaller wage, Bale is attainable for nearly any top-flight club. He’s not a superstar but he can still hold his own in the big leagues thanks to his sublime technical stats, and he can be yours for a cool £2.3m.
Pedro
Lazio
Three years older than Bale and with higher wage demands, Pedro is the best option statistically at this price point. The Lazio man is available for £2m which, if you can cope with a short-term option, is a no-brainer.
Roberto Torres
Atletico Pamplona
Veteran winger Torres is available for around £2.7m, and his 16 passing and 15 vision should justify that expense.
Daniel Caligiuri
Augsburg
34-year-old Caligiuri still has some nice physical stats to go with his well-rounded style of play. He can play anywhere down the right and is yours for £750,000.
Angel Mena
Leon
Another 34-year-old with nice physical stats, you can pick Leon up for just £650,000.

Florian Thauvin
Tigres
Thauvin was an excellent signing last year and nothing has changed this time around. His £9.25m price tag is great value for a player with 16 dribbling and 15 passing.
Jorge de Frutos
Levante
Levante’s De Frutos is a threat from both sides of the pitch. Available for £8.25m, his standout stats are his 15 crossing and 14 dribbling.
Xherdan Shaqiri
Chicago Fire
£6m is a bargain for Shaqiri but his price flies up when you have to try match his sizeable wage demands. For the overall price, it’s definitely worth considering.
Gonzalo Martinez
Al-Nassr (KSA)
Familiar to MLS fans from his time with Atlanta, Martinez is now out in Saudi Arabia. For £10m, he’s a smart buy.
Junior Messias
Milan
As far as bang-for-your-buck goes, Messias is the top value option here. £7.5m is an excellent price for the 31-year-old, who can impress either as a winger or up in attack.

Alexis Saelemaekers
Milan
It’s Messias’ teammate who gets the nod here. Saelemaekers is just 23 with seriously high potential, so not only is he a great option for the present, but you’re set up for the future if you bring him in now. Not bad for £11.5m.
Ademola Lookman
Atalanta
Somehow still just 24, Lookman won’t leave Atalanta just yet but he’s worth persisting with at £12m.
Angel Di Maria
Juventus
Di Maria is the best option at this price point. The 34-year-old will set you back around £18m when he can be convinced to leave Juventus, which is a great price for the 13th best right-winger on the entire game.
Marius Wolf
Borussia Dortmund
Wolf is a good athlete with some outstanding mental stats. Comfortable anywhere down either wing of the pitch, his versatility will cost you a reasonable £9.5m.
Dudu
SEP
Rounding things off here is Dudu. The 30-year-old Brazilian is more than good enough to try his hand in a top European league and can be yours for £12.5m.

Ousmane Dembele
Barcelona
Dembele is the eighth-best winger on the game and the best option if you’ve got significant funds to spare. His £47.5m price tag is more than reasonable but you will need to find a way to meet his massive wage demands.
Felipe Anderson
Lazio
Anderson remains an elite winger on FM and his £21m price tag actually looks like a bit of a bargain when you consider his 17 dribbling and 16 crossing.
Harvey Elliott
Liverpool
With a massive potential of 170, Elliott is a guaranteed superstar-in-the-making. Pay £55m to sign him now and you’ll never have to worry about signing another winger ever again.
Matteo Politano
Parthenope
£22m will get you Politano. 16 long shot and 16 corners are his standout attributes.
Rodrygo
R. Madrid
At £48m, Rodrygo is a little steeper than most options here but you’re paying to take him out of Madrid. The Brazilian is already excellent but comes with sublime potential that should make this an easy deal to pursue.

Rafa
Benfica
For the second year in a row, Rafa represents unreal value when it comes to wingers. He’ll cost you £26m but his current ability is higher than most players who will cost you twice that amount, including Rodrygo.
Angel Correa
A. Madrid
Correa is available for a cool £38m which is still excellent value for a player of his current ability.
Marco Asensio
R. Madrid
On the other side of Madrid you’ll find Asensio. He’s an impending free agent but it’ll cost you £27m to ensure he doesn’t get the chance to sign a contract extension.
Steven Berghuis
Ajax
An excellent playmaker, Berghuis can be picked up for a cool £25m. He brings 16 vision, 15 crossing and 14 passing.
David Neres
Benfica
A surprisingly good option to close things out is Neres. The 25-year-old has a whopping 18 dribbling and 15 passing, bringing excellent value for his £22m price tag.
