Manchester United will take on Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea face a trip to Aston Villa in the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals.
The Blues are currently top of the Women’s Super League table by two points after beating United 1-0 last time out, and have a game in hand on Marc Skinner’s Red Devils.
Chelsea are also through to the quarter-finals of the Women’s Champions League and hope to complete a treble with FA Cup success for the third year running.
To do so, Chelsea must overcome an Aston Villa side who have never reached this stage of the competition before – they reached the last four after Rachel Daly’s goal sealed a surprise 2-1 win over Manchester City – before a potential date with title rivals United at Wembley.
But they must first battle past Brighton in the competition’s other semi-final, having risen to the challenge of seeing off Championship outfit Lewes in the last eight.
A Rhian Elin Cleverly own goal set United on their way to a 3-1 win, before Vilde Boa Risa and Nikita Parris netted either side of an Emily Kraft consolation goal.
The semi-final ties will take place on Sunday 16 April, with the Wembley final slated for four weeks later on Sunday 14 May
