How to watch Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr over the Christmas period

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr are one of the most supported clubs in the Saudi Pro League and that support has spread overseas with the arrival of the Portuguese legend.

With the influx of recognised European stars during the 2023 summer transfer window, there is a fresh international interest in Saudi Arabian football and fans will be pleased to know the action continues throughout late December.

If the Premier League doesn’t quite cut it for you over the festive period, Ronaldo and his Al Nassr teammates have two games remaining in 2023 as they try to close the gap to Al Hilal at the top of the Saudi Pro League.

Here’s how you can follow the pair of games, both of which are difficult away trips.

There is Boxing Day action in the Saudi Pro League and the fixture list has thrown up a very intriguing match for those who want to see how some of the more recognisable names are getting on.

Al Ittihad aren’t having the season they would have expected upon signing players like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Fabinho. They have been floating from sixth to eighth and do not seem to be title contenders at all.

For Al Nassr, though, it still represents a tough away game and with the considerable gap up to Al Hilal, they cannot afford to drop any points over the Christmas period. They will be the favourites to take all three points and fans will be excited to see Benzema and Ronaldo on the pitch together, albeit on opposing sides.

The final Al Nassr fixture in the Saudi Pro League for 2023 is another tricky away game against one of the sides that has been surprisingly strong this season.

Al Taawoun are a genuine contender for second place this season but their squad is not bustling with recognisable names, as is the case for many teams beneath them. They have no major stars but have been getting results and won’t make it easy for Al Nassr to get the three points they need.
