AC Milan in talks to loan Kaka from Real Madrid

Colombia starlet Juan Fernando Quintero has admitted he dreams of playing for the Milan clubs, the Manchester duo, and Juventus.

He told Gazzetta Dello Sport: “I like Inter because there are a lot of South Americans and I like Italy, but it’s obvious, I won’t say no to other top teams.

“I dream of Milan, Juventus, Manchester. I will choose with my family and my agent. I’m fine at Pescara, I like the fans and there my child Maria Josè was born.”

Atletico Nacional midfielder Juan Fernando Quintero has admitted that it would be a “dream” to join either Manchester United or Manchester City.

The 19-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from a number of Europe’s top clubs after string of impressive performances since moving from his homeland of Colombia last year on loan to Pescara.

Yet, Quintero – who is valued at £8 million – is undecided on where his future lies, though he has revealed that a move to Serie A giants Inter would be his preference.

He told Gazzetta Dello Sport: “I like Inter because there are a lot of South Americans and I like Italy, but it’s obvious, I won’t say no to other top teams.

“I dream Milan, Juventus, Manchester. I will choose with my family and my agent. I’m fine at Pescara, I like the fans and there my child Maria Josè was born.

“My favourite role is trequartista, but I have to grow and keep working. My idol is Rivaldo. When I was kid I always wanted to see him playing at Barcelona, Milan and Olympiakos.”

BREAKING NEWS: AC Milan in talks to sign Kaka from Real Madrid

BREAKING NEWS:

Fulham have completed the signing of Cameroon-born starlet Noe Baba. The 16-year-old is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects to emerge in Ireland in recent years, and has already represented the Republic of Ireland U-19 side.

Fulham are expected to pay Castlebar Celtic in County Mayo a fee of €160,000 for the young defensive player, and will now await international clearance from Fifa before announcing the deal.

Fulham have completed the signing of Cameroon-born wonderkid Noe Baba, Goal.com can reveal.

The 16-year-old prodigy has signed for the Craven Cottage club, who are waiting for international clearance from Fifa before formally announcing the deal.

Goal.com revealed in November that Baba had agreed terms on a move to west London after they had beaten a host of clubs, including Manchester United, in the race for the youngster.

Fulham have paid Castlebar Celtic in County Mayo a fee of €160,000 to secure Baba, who passed a medical in November and has linked up with the club’s development squad at Motspur Park.

He is Fulham’s second signing this month following 19-year-old central midfielder Chris David, who has joined from FC Twente, although neither is expected to be a serious first-team contender.

Baba was born in Cameroon but moved to Ireland with his family when he was a boy and became the first African player to captain an Irish age-group team when he led the Under-17s.

The teenager, who turned 16 last August, has progressed rapidly through the ranks and was drafted into the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad in October, making three full appearances for Paul Doolin’s side.

He is highly regarded on both sides of the Irish Sea for his versatility and aptitude. Baba has been frequently used at centre-half but is expected to eventually be deployed as a full-back or midfield anchorman.

The deal is regarded as a coup for Fulham, who moved quickly to complete the transfer in the face of strong competition from a string of clubs, including United, Sunderland and Celtic.

Wenger reaffirms interest in Crystal Palace forward Zaha

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reaffirmed his interest in Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha.

The admission comes after Goal.com exclusively revealed earlier this week that both Arsenal and Manchester United were set to hold talks with the Championship side regarding a deal to sign the much-coveted youngster.

Crystal Palace have insisted throughout the window that Zaha must be loaned back to the club for the remainder of the season if his sale is to be sanctioned during January – but Wenger has insisted that the Gunners are yet to firm up their interest with an official offer.

“We are looking at him, but at the moment we have had no bid,” Wenger told reporters.

The attacker, who is thought to command a fee of around £12 million, has scored five goals in 26 league appearances this season, while he also made his senior international debut for England as a substitute in the 4-2 November friendly defeat to Sweden.

Wenger’s only previous mention of Zaha was a loose confirmation of interest at a media briefing in November, saying: “We are looking at every player who could strengthen our squad – but he is not more on the list than anyone else.”
