Aquilani on loan to Juventus

New Liverpool’s boss, Hodgson said that italian midfielder Aquilani will probably go back to Serie A on one year loan. It will be probably Juventus (they already shown interest, and Hodgson haven’t use him in Europa league last night), but other clubs from Serie A are also interested:

“At the moment we are considering possibly loaning him to an Italian club, but nothing is sure about that yet so I don’t have anything to report.”

“I didn’t want to use him tonight just in case the loan goes through because for Aquilani this year it’s very important that he plays regular football, every week as the number one man on the team sheet.”

“I can’t promise him that here so if a loan move to Italy could help him in that respect it might be good for all parties.”

“It would certainly be what he needs, it would certainly protect the value of the player and when he does return to Liverpool no doubt we will see the Aquilani that we signed before he came here injured last year.”

Vaart calls United

Van der Vaart said that he would be honoured to play for Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United:

“They are a huge club and if the reported interest they have in me turns out to be true, then I would really have to sit down and listen.”

“If Manchester United could offer me first-team football with the situation as it is at Madrid, it would be very hard to turn down. Alex Ferguson is a great coach and I would never think about joining a team where I didn’t believe I could win things, so all of a sudden that limits your choices.”

“At Manchester United you know success is likely and that’s a big factor for me at this stage of my career. If Jose Mourinho makes it clear I won’t play much, I see my future in English football.”

Liverpool, Chelsea and Inter may also be in battle for this player, if the asking price became one like which they asked from Inter for Sneijder (€15m).

Besiktas wants Robinho to play with Quaresma and Guti

Besiktas is trying to sign Robinho, who is not happy in Manchester.  The peoples responsible for transfer are hoping that Quaresma and Guti, who are both good friends with Robinho could convince him to join Besiktas, else they wouldn’t have much chance.

According to some reports, Robinho agreed to join Besiktas, while this club will pay €20m now and €10m more as clausules in future for Brazilian. If you can’t remember, Bernd Schuster is the coach of this Turkish club, who coached Robinho when he was in Real Madrid.

Schuster: I’m sure that president will do everything to bring him to our squad as well.

Report: Dirk Kuyt to Inter

Our sources told us that Dirk Kuyt could be a new player of Champions league winner until monday. Deal between two clubs was made earlier this week, while Inter was checking other possibilities.

It could be official even today, but Dirk should do medical exams and be presented to public in Milano next weekend. Negotiations about his personal contract should not be a problem for Inter Milan.

Kuyt was out of the squad agains’t Trabzonspor, in Europa league, so he can play for Inter’s Champions league squad. Now, we only have to wait and see.. About the amount that Inter will have to pay Liverpool, isn’t still clear, but it’s in a range of €20-25m.

Inter was also interested in ex-Benitez’s player, Javier Mascherano, the Argentinian who was also left out of Europa clash. But last reports told us that he is overvaluated by Liverpool. There are two more weeks for transfers to be made, so, you never know in football what could happen.

* Neymar signed new contract with Santos.

Gallas joins Tottenham

“I thought at the start of the year there were three fantastic free transfers available – David James, Joe Cole and William Gallas. It is a possibility to sign William. His wages aren’t a problem. He has not been greedy at all. His people have rung up and we spoke about it.,” said Redknapp (Spurs manager).

When Redknapp was asked, what he think about Gallas’s arrival from Tottenham’s rival Arsenal, Harry said: “He played for Chelsea as well. We put too much importance on that all the time. If he comes in and plays rubbish then the crowd will slaughter him. If he comes in and plays great they will love him.”

Sources from White Hart Lane have confirmed that Gallas should pass his medical today and he is expected to sign a contract with Spurs in next few days.
