Kith reveal special edition adidas F50 Spider – but you’ll never own them

Earlier this month, New York streetwear powerhouse Kith and adidas Football launched their 2025 Fall Collection, fronted by Paul Pogba and Paulo Dybala.

The capsule delivered flame motifs, sharp pinstripes, denim-inspired outerwear and more – a bold fusion of football heritage and streetwear style.

Now, adidas’ VP of Product Creative, Sam Handy, has teased something extra for the boot obsessives: a rare F50 Spider x Kith Friends & Family edition.

The F50 Spider first dropped in 2004 and has been a cult favourite among collectors ever since. For this new iteration, the boot has been reimagined with a brown textile base wrapped in a striking web-patterned overlay, with tongue covers made from white snakeskin-style material carrying dual Kith & Kin branding.

A retro-inspired heel clip is updated with SPRINTFRAME 360 tooling for modern performance, while “Kith” text sits down the spine alongside adidas’ performance logo.

The catch? They’re not for sale. The F50 Spider x Kith has been confirmed as a Friends & Family exclusive, meaning unless you’re in Ronnie Fieg’s inner circle, these grail-level boots will remain strictly out of reach.

Spain’s 2026 World Cup home kit leaked

Reigning European champions Spain are tipped as one of the favourites for the 2026 World Cup – and now, fans have been given a first look at the kit La Roja could be wearing in North America next summer.

Images of the shirt, leaked online by Opaleak, show an adidas design that blends tradition with a bold new twist.

The base is a deep red body paired with dark navy sleeves, while the three adidas shoulder stripes run in a red-yellow-red sequence – a subtle nod to the Spanish flag. Fine yellow pinstripes run vertically down the jersey with dotted detailing, adding texture and depth.

It marks the first time in two decades that Spain have worn a striped home shirt at a World Cup, with the last appearance coming in 2006 (and before that, at USA ‘94).

Graphic designer Izan (@izandegeer) has even mocked up Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal wearing the new adidas design – an image fans will no doubt be seeing plenty of if Spain repeat their Euro 2024 heroics and go all the way at the World Cup.

The Spain 2026 home kit is expected to be officially released in November 2025.

England’s 2026 World Cup home and away kits leaked

England’s home and away kits for the 2026 World Cup have surfaced online, showing what the Three Lions could be wearing in Canada, Mexico and the United States next summer.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are closing in on qualification for the tournament, which kicks off on June 11, and leaked designs from Opaleak and Footy Headlines give fans a first look at the shirts set to feature on the biggest stage.

The home kit keeps the classic white base, complemented by red inserts and navy trim around the collar and sleeves. Its standout detail is an intricate jacquard pattern across the chest and torso, depicting lions and stars, while the inside collar carries the patriotic inscription “Happy and Glorious”.

For the away strip, England return to a familiar red after sporting a navy-purple look at Euro 2024. The design includes a white Nike swoosh, white-trimmed shoulders, and a matching England crest. It marks the fifth time since Nike took over in 2013 that England’s away kit has gone red.

Though not yet officially unveiled, the designs are already generating excitement – and with anticipation for Tuchel’s first World Cup at an all-time high, the shirts are certain to fly off shelves once released.

Pep Guardiola plants kiss on cheek of fourth official after telling off

Pep Guardiola lightened the mood on the touchline during Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, sharing an unusual moment with fourth official Craig Pawson.

City had taken an early lead through Erling Haaland’s ninth-minute strike and looked on course for victory before the Gunners struck back late on.

In the closing stages, Guardiola found himself in a lively exchange with Pawson on the sidelines.

Instead of letting the telling-off get to him, the City boss suddenly leaned in and planted a kiss on Pawson’s cheek. The official stepped back, momentarily startled but with a smile, before resuming his duties, while Guardiola chuckled with his hands on his hips – both clearly seeing the funny side.

Guardiola’s grin didn’t last long, however. Moments later, after Pawson signalled seven minutes of injury time, City conceded deep into stoppage time. Gabriel Martinelli rescued a point for Arsenal, superbly chipping Gianluigi Donnarumma to cancel out Haaland’s opener.

The result means Arsenal remain unbeaten in their last five Premier League meetings with City.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Guardiola praised his side’s resilience.

“Today we played against a powerful team,” he said. “Hats off to our team for the resilience. It’s so difficult when you’re not effective with high pressing, it’s always tough in the build-up. We made some transitions. I think the result is fair. In general, Arsenal were better.”

No mention of the kiss, though. Poor Craig Pawson.

Wayne Rooney reveals surprise secret behind Man Utd success

Wayne Rooney’s glittering spell at Manchester United produced five Premier League titles, a Champions League crown and a haul of unforgettable goals.

But according to the club’s record scorer, the secret ingredient behind Sir Alex Ferguson’s dominant side wasn’t tactics or training – it was playing on the PlayStation.

Speaking on his BBC podcast The Wayne Rooney Show, the 38-year-old revealed that much of the team’s bond was forged not on the pitch, but on the road. The players regularly played SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs on the PlayStation Portable, turning long journeys into fierce five-versus-five battles.

“I really believe a big part of our success was playing on the PSP,” Rooney said. “It got us communicating more.

“We used to play it on the plane, on the team bus,” he explained. “It would be me, Rio [Ferdinand], Michael Carrick, John O’Shea, Wes Brown. You have to talk, you have to tactically be right, go and revive people when they get killed, and it was a massive part of our success. Ask any of those players – it was brilliant.”

Rooney added that his teammates’ styles in the game often mirrored their personalities on the pitch.

“Michael Carrick was a little sneaky, calm one. You’d be lying down hiding and suddenly hear a grenade bounce nearby – he’d thrown it,” he said. “I was just all in, frontline of the trenches, straight in there.”

So while Ferguson’s legendary leadership and the squad’s quality remain undisputed, Rooney insists that SOCOM and the PlayStation may just have played an underrated role in creating one of football’s most dominant dynasties.
