Mark Hughes signs with Fulham

After Roy Hodgson left Fulham for Liverpool, Fulham already found the replacement. New coach is Mark Hughes former Manchester city manager.

“Last two seasons under Roy Hodgson were two most successfull seasons in this clubs history. I am sure that with few reinforcements in our squad we can continue on this level,” said Mark Hughes to the english press.

Now that City is buying players like there is now tommorow and with Hughes saying that he will bring some new players, it could happen that Hughes will bring some of his former players to Fulham, especcialy those, who will not be happy with their status in Manchester City.

Bruno Alves joins Zenit

A surprising news came from Portugal this morning. We found that Bruno Alves, the captain of Porto has signed with Zenit for a fee of €23m. Zenit also signed the serbian international and former Udinese defender, Aleksandar Lukovi?.

Alves was playing for Porto since 2001, and now 9 years later he is leaving the most sucessfull portuguese club in the last decade.

Serie A fixture surprises the big four teams

The fixture for Serie A 2010/11 season was announced on Wednesday night and it seems very interesting for teams like Inter, Roma, Milan and Juventus. The coaches of these four big teams have been in some surprise in spite of having an easy fixture.

Claudio said there is a story behind every champion, whether it is easy or difficult we have to play with all the team in the tournament. In the same way Del Neri said, Inter and Roma will be facing in the fifth week which will be very interesting as both teams’ wishes to win the title.

Milan’s manager Allegri said, the opening matches are very important as many new teams have entered the tournament but we have to play with power and passion. Rafael Benitez who is new to Inter said, there are two important games which are against Roma and Juventus, we have to be ready to play with any team which is on the list and start the playing matches positively.

Robinho expected to join Manchester City

The Brazilian star Robinho will return to the Eastlands after taking break from the international side, this report was confirmed by Roberto Mancini the manager of Manchester City. The player had been playing with Santos from January who had been completely away from the city in entire summer.

Manchester City was taken over by Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008 and Robinho was the team’s first choice and has scored 14 goals in his 41 matches played for the club. There was rumours about Santos, Milan, Besiktas interested in taking Robinho into their side, but Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has not shown any interest on the player.

Roberto Mancini has said in an interview that it all depends on the player at present. The current position is that the player will return to Manchester City after ending the contract with Santos. He will also play for the national team during his stay in the country before joining the Manchester City.
